Legal Services Alabama is a nonprofit organization with offices across the state that give free legal help in civil cases to people in Alabama who cannot pay for a lawyer.

Volunteer Lawyer Programs

Alabama has five volunteer lawyers programs. These programs help low-income Alabamians find a lawyer who will volunteer to help them with their legal issue for free.

Alabama State Bar Volunteer Lawyers Program helps people in any county EXCEPT Baldwin, Clarke, Madison, Mobile or Washington. Telephone: 1-888-857-8571
